Great authentic hostel. I volunteered here for just under a month in 2019 during the summer. It has a great location, the staff are great, especially Panda. Panda, runs this place brilliantly. We had a few hiccups whilst I was staying here, but everything was taken care of by panda. Local attractions include, a few small local restaurants, the university and some great bars. Staying here really made my two month trip of Taiwan great. If you're looking for a work to stay voluntary gig, I'd recommend here. Panda knows every worthwhile place to go to, she knows everyone and she knows where is good to eat.
Nice staff, clean and comfort bed. Hair dryer, toilet tissues, shampoo and shower gels are supplied. However, there is no washbasin and credit card is not accepted.
Nice hostel with great rooftop but a bit far from the main attractions. You will find good food around and lively atmosphere with the University nearby. The hostel itself is nice but kind of small with no proper common area.
It was difficult to find a room because of Taiwan Festival period. So I visited without reservation, but there was no room.nAt that time, my hostess friends welcomed me, calmed me down, and connected me with boss. So I could sleep one night.nI could not thank you guys for the morning check-out time.nI really appreciate it and hope you are happy.
