Kaohsiung Li Forest Hall

Stayed Saturday night for $76 from Booking. The weekdays price is almost half. What a steal. The two double beds room is spacious. The light switches are very convenient at fingertips by the bed. Nice design. Dark wood laminated floor look great. Bathroom has all supply. A small safe in closet. Very good WiFi signal with one router in each room. There are few places that may need improvement but in general I like this hotel and may come back next time. The front desk staffs may need a little bit more training on actively showing coutesy when they are available for next person in line. The breakfast has huge selection for both Western and Chinese style dishes and can be a nice brunch. The only shortcomings is table setting is hard to walk if sitting inside.

Friendly staff , clean room and comfortable bed. Only the sound insulation is little bad but come night, my floor was quiet.

Nice and good services

This used to be a decent hotel, but now it's just marginally acceptable. As some people have pointed out, not all their employees are well trained in providing customer service. Some are friendly and some are down right rude. The guest rooms are showing signs of aging - Wallpaper peeling off the walls, worn carpeting, stains on the walls, poor sound insolation, etc. Breakfast is so so. This is a pricy hotel for what they are offering you.
