Taipei Zoo

Update 3/2021n4stars. The zoo has gotten a lot better over the years. The animals look healthier and there are pandas now. Great to take kids. Be sure to go in the morning or it gets real hot.nn2starsnThe zoo is huge with a variety if animals. The entrance fee is also very cheap. I wish they would take better care of the animals though. Lots of them look dirty and all skinny.

I especially enjoy taking my toddlers to see the butterfly atrium. I think it’s wonderful to be able to observe these beautiful creatures so closely through their various stages in life.nnWhile this is a familiar and common experience for me growing up, it has become increasingly rare with rapid urbanization.nnOur visits to the zoo have made me more aware of the impact on our environment and motivated me to do more to protect the environment in my immediate neighborhood.

The zoo is amazing. They have a large number of species from different type of environments. All of them seems to be very well taken care off and place is very well maintained. You'll need to dedicate your whole day here plus the gondola.

A great place for the whole family to spend the day and enjoy. Animals occupy quite sufficient area divided in sections so expect lots of walking. You can also take the shuttle service for a relatively cheap price.
