Kaohsiung City Shou Shan Zoo

Located on a mountain, the zoo allows visitors to combine animal observation with hiking. Plenty of animals, including elephants, rhinos, birds, apes, and lions. Entrance fee is rather cheap, too! Beware of the monkeys though, which have a keen eye for bags with food. Especially from McDonald's... They'll snatch it away right from under your nose.

Great location, not too big, and a small water park for kids is included. But beware of the free-roaming monkeys... Those exhibit a pavlovian pickpocketing reflex whenever they see food bags.

Fun day at the zoo! Hopefully the donation is able to help support the animals.

The zoo is not so big but it is a nice place since it is located in the mountain

As a South African it's a pretty sad place for animals. However it's clean and I do think they try their very best to take care of the animals there.
