Taipei Zoo Formosan Animal Area

Very good place

One of the most attractive travel spot in Taipei! Bring your kids along, they will love it. Although it was a raining when we visited the zoo, but it’s totally worth it!

US$2!! I'm glad the government keeps the prices so low so all residents can enjoy the zoo.nnWhile it definitely cannot compare for example with San Diego zoo, it's quite good for an Asian zoo. When we went it was quite packed and many animals were hiding in the back to avoid the crowds. We were lucky and got to see the pandas when they were active, but it comes down to timing. They take tickets and give you a time at the front door, and seems you only get one chance to take a look per visit.

Very cool place to visit. The zoo is amazing and I would definitely bring Mt kids and family next time!
