Bar Mood Taipei

Great place with cocktails infused with locally sourced ingredients. I tried two gin infused cocktails which were both good. They have alps won the Asia's 50 best awards this year. Do get to have a chat with Mr. Nick, one of Taiwan's most influential bartenders

The environment is okay, and during the busy day, the standing bar area is available, but the layout is weird row by row. There is a side bar did not open on that day, and the area also occupies a big space.nThe sweet basil gin cocktail is not very outstanding for me. The flavor is like a typical gin cocktail, and the decoration is only “server hand crafted” (she made in front of us) five drops of basil oil on top.nThe decoration of the goji berry cognac is interesting with a goji jello on top of a well made ice rock, and the flavor is lil sweet that makes me feel I am having a dessert, but it is good overall.nThe servers are friendly, but they seem very busy (hard to catch them... I tried) and never provide napkins to us, so I have to walk over to the bar to get napkins on my own.

The cocktail menu was very special with many different spices and ingredients. The pasta and other finger food were good too. We all love the fries and wings.

Was a bit disappointed at this place given some of the accolade they have recieved. The food was average, the drinks expensive and overly done. I'm a bit of a cocktail connoisseur so was shocked when the servers and bartenders were asking me how to make a few classic cocktails I ordered. They strongly encourage you to order drinks on the menu...which are all their own creations.

Pretty decent cocktail. Creative and tasty. Pretty nice to see quite a few female bartenders who are all super professional. Impressive!
