Here we have a Presbyterianism church. One of the earliest form of Christianity here in Taiwan.nGeorge L. Mackay (Canadian) came in 1872 and adopted Christianity into local beliefs. Also built hospitals, schools, over 60 churches.nWas not welcomed by local leaders because the idea of only one absolute god is against traditional Taiwanese beliefs (Buddhist, Daoist, Confucism) but they were moved after witnessing Mackay’s dedication.
