The food and service quality has improve very much in the last year. Dim sum items are a delicacy.

Mediocre. I’ve had better dim sum at NBC Seafood Restaurant in Alhambra. The 蝦餃 falls apart when picked up, and the 叉燒包 crumbles before it even reaches your plate. Sure, Citystar is a great place to linger for hours with your friends, but I hope the conversation doesn’t fall apart like the 蘿蔔糕.

When I want a meal I want a quality meal with a great price, presentation and food. One day I was looking for a restaurant that hit these qualifications and then I found Citystar. The price at Citystar is phenomenal, which is surprising because the food is great. They also have phenomenal presentation of their food. The presentation of the actual food makes you want to start gobbling it down right when you see it. Citystar is clean and has a Chinese culture theme, which I enjoy. I don’t think the location is the most convenient because it’s in an alley and hard to find but once you do find it, the service and food make up for it. Citystar is a great take on Chinese cuisine with a Taiwanese twist. The classics, such as radish cake, and shumai, are served here, with the chewy texture that makes you feel at home. Grab your friends and head to Citystar for an exciting dim sum feast.
