Fuzhong 15 - New Taipei City Documentary Cinema

Enjoyed a most engaging time here, it's free to get in. Especially different themes on different floors. Also got to have a go at making a short animation film. I could go on a lot longer but don't wish to spoil it by giving away too much. I would highly recommend a visit.

This is a documentary theater of New Taipei City. The location is at an easy access by MRT that the building is within 100 feet from the exit of Fuzion Station on blue line. Films are mostly of documentaries and of humanitarian oriented. Good foreign films that often time not played in commercial cinemas could be found here. The ticket is sold online and one hour at sight before the movie starts. It is only $20 to enjoy a fine time. Applause to the city for its public cultural and art efforts!!!

What a find! I was in the area and it was raining. The receptionist Heather was great and she let me know about film screening time and subtitles. I was even given a children's storybook made by a Taipei artist group and got to see a very interesting documentary! I'll definitely be back !

Not a bad little spot to see an underground movie or documentary. It's right by an MRT exit, but not super convenient for everyone. The screen and sound system are good enough for the kind of movie you're likely to see here.
