Don't forget our story.

The museum does a really good job conveying the stories of the comfort women. They have good English and Chinese descriptions

Ama means Grandma in Taiwanese. This museum exhibits some missing history in our textbooks, but quite important! These grandmas were forced to contribute their youths, beauties, and sex to Japanese military during WW2, and until now they have never get their deserved respects and apologies. As a Taiwanese, Asian, or human, you must visit AMA museum, a place makes you heart-broken but strong, then you may find something similar to your background and country. Finally, I need to thank this foundation for doing all history research and showing those materials to us. Wringing in English, just hope more and more people can visit, because the museum is gonna close in Nov. due to shortages.

Suitable for those who want an in-depth travel and want to know the history and burried stories.

It was a place I didn't know I needed to see until I heard about it. The museum is only two floors and you need to pay 100 NTD to reach the second floor but it's well worth it. Being able to understand and hear about their struggles and hardships, while at the same time learning about their strength of character and continuing fight made me want to support them all the way. I hope more people can come here and that one day justice will be given to these people.
