Ridiculous name, simply political and pieceful distorted stories
Brand Smit (07/04/2020)
Complete history of the 28 February 1947 incident which calvanized the Taiwan democracy movement. Plenty of photos and historic items. Some descriptions are in English, but they also provide a free English pamphlet.

Very educational museum.

It is a great place to learn more about 228 incident happening. BUT. There is a big BUT. English is mostly not available when you go through the hall. Pieces of detailed information are all written in Mandarin. So it is a good place for anyone who can read Mandarin. But if you can't, there would be some problems while visiting here.

The museum is a dedicated one that is aimed to commemorate the 228 Incident and those that lost their lives as a result. It tells the story of the events leading up to the uprising and gives accounts of the events and its aftermath with witness testimony. There is a gift shop in the entrance area with books on the subject, many in English for those wanting to learn about the incident.
