My husband and I came in and booked one night under his name. We paid in advance and they told us they couldn't give us a receipt. We left and when we came back to check in, they told us they didn't have our information in their system. They even called the girl who booked us and she lied about our situation saying that we came in with a woman who spoke Mandarin. They ended up telling us that we were booked under a different name. This is terribly confusing considering my husband handed them his identification. The card only has his name on it and an assortment of numbers. I'm not sure where they got this name from but it had absolutely no relation to us at all. They were flipping through our passports looking at all the pages....I have no idea what they were after. I hope that they are honest in the future. If this was all due to human error, they could have at least been more understanding and accommodating about it. If my husband wasn't so angry I'm not sure we would have gotten our money back.

Nice clean rooms that are a little larger than your typical taipei hotel for the same price. Breakfast is decent and close to the business centers.

I stayed in The Tango hotel Taipei in late October, quick one night visit. The entrance in my room was through a garage, even if I did not have a car. But for sure it's a good solution for guests who have it. The room had no window, the bathroom was even bigger if the room and has 2 big windows, great facilities and full bathroom kit. There were a shower cabin and a jacuzzi inside.nPersonal was very kind and attentive to the needs of the guests, I could do a late take out at 6 pm on half price.nThe position was very convenient, 20 minutes on foot from 101 Taipei Tower, 10 minutes from Breeze department store and 15 from the night market and subway station City Hall.nI found the rooms little bit dark, needed to be renewed, towers and bathrobe were very old and had some holes.nBreakfast was sufficient.
