A cozy gem for authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. The food is delicious, and made with attention to detail. The rack of lamb was tender and of high quality. The server recommended their house Chianti which was wonderful with the lamb. Burrata melted in my mouth. Hazelnut cake was unique well balanced dessert not too sweet. Also one of the best lattes I've had in Taipei -- wonderfully rich and aromatic! I would give 5 stars but we sat outside and the outside atmosphere could be more comfortable. Although cordial and friendly, service was a bit slower at the start of our meal as it seemed there was only one server and a large group inside. The lighting is also too dark outside and it was difficult to see our food. Will be back to try more of their menu!

As a person that appreciates thoughtful cuisine and wine pairings, La Mole is one of my go-to Italian restaurants in Taiwan. The chef-owner is from the Piemonte region of Italy, and the menu reflects the delicious, diverse flavors of this particular region. To complement the cuisine is a very good and reasonably priced wine list, and a newly remodeled space, with soft, natural colors, textures and lighting. I really feel at home here. I honestly have never ordered from the menu directly, rather just let the chef know what I feel like eating and my appetite, and am thus presented with a bespoke meal that is always satisfying.

Excellent food and service. We had the beef tongue and Buffalo Mozzarella for starters. Then the gnocchi and the lamb ragout for mains. All four dishes are highly recommended.

A very popular restaurant with decent food and relatively reasonable price. Their bistecca was delicious (although portion is quite small which seems odd given Bistecca di Florentina is always really big). Burrata could be better (the cheese itself wasn't as good compared to other good Italian restaurants in Taipei).
