Hualien Charming City Hotel

Older three star hotel located across from the Hualien train station. Staff and services are limited. Electrical outlets with only two slots. For laptop computers bring your own adapter or ask for one at the front desk.

We stayed 1 night here. It is 3-4 mins walk from Hualien train station, 1min walk from 7-Eleven. There is a playground area for children in the basement. There are conference rooms on the 2nd floor, with a bar which seems to be only open during peak season. They also seem to have bikes for rent though we never took advantage of the service. Comfortable beds, large rooms, and good toiletries provided in the room.

Extremely helpful staff, convenient location to train station, short walk to many good restaurants, decor a bit dated, overall perfectly fine!

Clean, nice hotel... Breakfast was better than I had expected. Recommend this place
