Dongdamen Night Market

Lovely night market. Wasn't very busy when I got there at 7pm, maybe due to a lack of tourists. The market consists of 4 intersecting roads and offers a wide variety of foods and some of the usual games found at Taiwanese night markets. Some of the food stalls had quite the queue despite the lack of visitors. Lots of foods to try from, music, nice atmosphere and a grass area in the middle of the market let this one stand out for me.

Good live music was playing and some really great stores were open. There's a variety of drink stands, food stands and other things. Not everything was open although I did go on a Wednesday night. I would have liked to see more open stores.

A relatively spacious night market with TONS of food. Many food outlets have seating too!! We entered from zhongshan at where the aboriginal cuisine is. We had the grilled seafood with beer on tap on the right hand side and also got a baked fish and some veg from the store next door. Both were very tasty. Very nice vibe with live music performances scattered around. Highly recommend this night market during the week. Heard it gets super busy on weekends though.

非常觀光uff0c但還是會逛個一小時左右uff5ennHonestly, it is very easy to navigate. Shaped like a #. But then you lose some of the local flair. Feels too touristy. So goes the price. Still good to spend an hour or more there.

Spacious, variety of choices, tasty, friendly, affordable, bring your fastest buds to taste every possible super delicious taste. Band’s performances, some interesting games to play. Enjoy different varieties of cuisines at the open air setting. If you are at Hualien, I think is nice for everyone to enjoy the local taste and atmosphere here. Recommend!
