My fianceamd I rented an bike. The bicycles were fully functional and easy to ride. Despite what was shown, the battery lasted as long as what was mentioned by the people who work there. They did forget to give us a lock but they made up for it by giving us a discount. I fully recommend this place.

I am a bit late with this review as it was in April 2019 we visited Hualien and our daughter teaching English there. Rented 3 Giant ebikes and they were awesome. We went everywhere on them, up the mountains all over town and the guys at the store were fantastic in helping us with the bikes. They were friendly and spoke English to help us out:) When we returned the e bikes we liked them so well, we bought the same model new for our daughter to use her last 9 months there.

Convenient location next to the Hualien Station. The rental bike shop does offer basic repairs, parts, accessories, and basic apparels. The store is very small. They have a lot of standard bikes for rent at very affordable prices. They also have some high end road bikes for rent at high end prices.

Nice Service and good Bikes, however no spring system (which hurts after a longer Ride). No Problem to hire bikes spontaneously. Good value for money!

Great place for bike rentals. We were in & out in 5 minutes with the nicest bikes we’ve ever ridden & it cost about $5 USD for the whole day. The location is very convenient, we hopped off the train from Taipei & walked across the street to Giant, very easy. Hualien has tons of bike paths all over town. We rode along the coast for hours.
