A place that I visited back to back during Chinese New Year. Children friendly, nice music, nice beer and wine, nice host. Would be great if there’s more food. Nice place overall tho!

Wonderful little corner bar a short walk from the station. Limited menu but they had a couple of draft beers and some wings. Background music was mellow and relaxing, and there are signs for live music which is why I stopped by.

THIS PLACE IS NOT FOREIGNER FRIENDLYnnVisited on a Saturday night for a few beers expecting live music as a friend recommended this place. Bar has a new manager who doesn’t speak any English so we tried to communicate with the limited Chinese we have and offended him somehow... Then he asked us to leave and went outside to smoke with his friends (who also spoke no English) without saying another word.nnNot much going on in the neighboring streets too, would recommend heading towards the old train station if you want a good evening out in Hualien.
