原酔酒餐館Aboriginal bistro

Very good food. The scallops in particular were amazing, and I enjoyed my cocktail, which did utilise some aboriginal ingredients, and I know that the mussels were steamed in magao liquor. However, the waitress recommend the meatballs, and although they were tasty, I didn't really discern any aboriginal influence, and the scallops were more Japanese izakaya style. So, not what I was expected, but still good.

Good and special cocktails. They serve the more classic ones but also cocktails with rice wine. We liked them very much. Staff is very friendly and we had some finger food, which was tasty. We had a great time there. Highly recommend.

Judging by food I’d give it a three but judging by the atmosphere, the environment and the interior design I’d give it a five! Loved the restaurant from the door outside to the toilet inside lol. It’s concrete, bricks and wood themed. A mix of modern and old school interior design accompanied with dried flowers decor and traditional fabric designs from the Taiwan aboriginal tribes.nnFood is good but a little pricey comparing to other restaurants in town. With one option of steak it’s only served medium. Although it tasted fresh the steak was still a bit raw and it was really hard to cut. Some outer parts were also a little burnt. Other than that it’s all good.nnThe appetizers, the soup and the salad, they were pretty tasty. And I’m happy that it wasn’t too much. The chicken wings with grated chocolate was pretty good too. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu.

Amazing experience, the owner was soooo friendly and gave us a great time.
