Daiji Bianshi Restaurant

Only one item on the menu: wonton soup. Went here as it was recommended by a friend. Not really sure what the big deal is. It’s not bad but doesn’t really explain the long line outside. I had it for lunch and I’ve almost forgotten about it a few hours later. A bit expensive for 70nt too

Simple menu, only one dish so just state how many bowls you want. Each bowl at NTD70. The wantons are really thin skinned and the meat filling is light in taste but still flavourful. Soup lacks depth but I guess that's the original intention of the creator. Good for an afternoon snack and you should still give it a try when you're in Hualien.

The wonton (dumplings) was exquisitely to my liking. Savoury pork filling of wonton was not too salty. The classic bowl of wonton make my evening. The soup was delicious and full of flavour as crispy pork lard & spring onion made it a hearty meal. The restaurant serve wonton only.

Delicious won ton soup at only Nt 70 for a large bowl. Liked it a lot!

The shop only sells wonton soup, so it is easy to order, just come in and show how many portions you want. I got my lovely huge steaming bowl in few mines. Soup is really good. The broth is not too strong, so you can really enjoy the taste of dumplings, which are really good and you will get a generous number of them. I will come again for sure! The price is 70NT for one soup, pay in cash.
