Beautiful village to visit, nice wood perfume in the air. Just a pity the trail is not accessible.

Good place for a short trip. Fresh air and good coffee, is really a good place for short recharge.

I always take my foreign friends here if they are into culture. Lintienshan, a Japanese colonial wood farm, is basically the Juifen without over-tourism and night market food. You can still walk into or between the old houses. It’s a bit creepy but so raw, filled with history.

Very interesting and original place to visit in country Hualien. A good number of buildings are renovated now and they were about to finish the visitor center. It's completely free.
