My friends and I arrived during lunchtime. There were six of us. My biggest complaint is the service. If you’re going to charge a service fee, make sure the service is good. We tried to order off of the bar menu while at the bar but was told it was only for the evening which the sign didn't state clearly. Also on the menu, one my friends tried to order the kabobs but was also told it was only for the evening. Again this was not stated in the menu. After that our friend left to go somewhere else. The rest of us stayed. After we placed our orders, we waited over 30 minutes. My order was forgotten and I only ordered a dessert. When we asked for the receipt, they didn't write down the prices and they had to look at the menu to get the cost of each item. I just felt the staff was really unorganized. I didn't see the boss there that much. Because it's an African restaurant which is rare in Taiwan, I want to give it another try but I have no motivation to go back.

It’s great to have various food types in Taiwan. My main course was tomato sauce with couscous and cabbage and it was pretty dull. I also got fired bananas which were nice.
Food has really nice flavor but lacking balance. Service was disorganized. Loved the ambiance.
Bony is from the Ivory Coast and his restaurant is without doubt one of the best! Great food and atmosphere, tastes are pretty authentic and he's a great bloke. If you're in Hualien or nearby make sure visit.
