Nice braised beef noodles with nice broth and spot on noodle texture. A must-try if you're around this area. I also like the authentic vibe of the restaurant.nThey have English menu and the owner was able to communicate a bit in English. However make sure to come early right after their opening time to avoid queuing.
Excellent soup with a nice amount of meat! It was a very delicious soup and the meat was very tender. I also tried the tea egg which was also great. The service is good, but I went there at a good time since there was not too many people. The menu is simple and it is in English, so it is easy to choose and ask for the food. Price is pretty reasonable too. They have Taiwan Beer and Heineken as well, however as a (European) tourist, I would never drink Heineken. I came here for the local stuff.
It is a very small and intimate place. The tables are all old school desks, which is really cool. The owner doesn't speak English but he is an absolute sweetheart. The menu is in English though. The food is incredibly delicious and very reasonably priced.

Big thanks to the lady that went over and beyond to help my family. She took my pregnant wife, toddler, and I to our next location when we couldn’t get a cab. Besides the amazing service, the food was tasty and it was awesome to eat off of what used to be school desks.
