The steak is good, the ambience is good and as everyone said, the prices are high. Our server was enthusiastic, however seemed to focus mostly on directing the younger females in our group from actually ordering the desired dish. Four times. The waiter mansplained to my sister four times.n1. She asked for rare steak. He told her typically steal was served 50% cooked. Which is rare. But was trying to push 70%. Because he probably didn't understand rare. How do you work in a steak restaurant and not understand basic steak terms?n2. She ordered steak tartar for an appie. He told her that eating steak twice in one meal was overkill. She ignored him.n3. She ordered coffee. He told her that drinking coffee at night was not recommended. Her mother was sitting right at the table and definitely was not him.n4. She asked him to bring the cake out with the provided candles after the table was cleared. None of which really happened. My uncle was not in the room because he didn't see a clear table so used the opportunity to use the facilities. The candle was a random kitchen candle he had located. Singular. Did not say 3-0 like the provided candles. Uneaten food was still on the table. Some of us were still eating dinner!!!nIt also didn't help that he kept breaking into our dinner to make an announcement like we were at the school mess hall.nnWe enjoyed having the privacy of a whole floor to ourselves. The food was great. Our waiter and the price were the downfalls.

Excellent steaks!! We had several different types of steak, all very delicious!! Their steaks are at the same high quality as in Chicago!!n8 of us had a wonderful time. The service is excellent as we had a wonderful time!!nHighly recommend Roast restaurant to everyone!!

Pricey but worth it! Excellent service. Great ambiance. Superb presentation. Resounding deliciousness. You will leave with a very happy stomach!

Excellent dishes!!! A fabulous journey for my palette from starter to desert. This restaurant is definitely a Must-try. Every single dish I had today left a lovely taste in my mouth. The dinner cost me 5000 NTD (for two persons), but it definitely worth the price.

An awesome place to go for date or fine dining. One of the best steak I have ever tried. Reasonable price and great service.
