Basic but very spacious double room and a nice and cozy common area. The area is dotted with inexpensive yet delicious breakfast places - check with the owners for some recommendations. The free bikes make any point of interest within reach. Yet what really made our stay memorable was the kindness and helpfulness of the - fluently English speaking - owner, who helped us discover the Taitung scene and it's surroundings and was approachable for every question we had. For this level of hospitality, a bit more decoration/furniture in the bedroom to make it more homely would certainly earn this accommodation a steady stream of five-star reviews in the future. Still very good value for money!

Clean double room with a very helpful host! She helped us find our way to Lanyu Island at the last minute and recommended vegetarian restaurants.

The room is normal but the host is extremely nice and helpful.

A basic hostel above a family area. It is not well situated, being a kilometre or so from the main part of the town. It is noisy (young children) and pricey for the standard offered. The owner was friendly and helpful. Do not rely on taxi pick up here. We had one arranged by the owner and it did not arrive so we had to go to town and find one, almost missing our train as a result. I think that there will be better places to go in town.

I've stayed here on here on 13th november this year. My stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The family that owns this hostel was most kind and helpful. The hostel itself was clean and had anything to make my time there as comfortable as possible. I had a great experience, thank you!
