Worth a visit if you are in Yilan. About 10 to 15 minutes by walking from the train station. Interesting Distillery, and also a wine bank! Many local products available for purchase. Prices are OK, but don't expect bargain prices. Variety of wine is quite special. There is also a small wine museum. Store selling snacks are available near the entrance. You can get some simple local food at reasonable prices in the canteen within the Distillery.

Interesting place . You can find and taste the distinct Gold flakes in the bottle of wine/ whisky.nHistorical and shopping place.nThe grilled sausage with wine is delicious. Don’t miss it.

This distillery is still in operation. The entire complex functions also as a warehouse, retail shop and small museum. Taking that into consideration, it's actually not bad. If you go in there expecting it to be a polished museum experience, you'd be disappointed. It's very much a place of business. For me, it's fun and informative that has a good amount of kitsch.

Great place to learn how liquors are being made. Come during the weekend so you can take a picture with the yellow beer crafts at the back of of the building!
