I used here almost a decade ago, On holidays, the mountain road to Jiufen Old Street is crowded, so the tour's large bus must get off here and change to a piston bus. The temporary toilets are lined up in a row, but it was in a terrible state that I couldn't say it in words. I hope it is improved now. If nothing seems to change even now, there are some public toilets in the old town, which are relatively expensive (but crowded).
