Excellent little seafood restaurant in 烏石港。Clean and well air conditioned, no fishy smell typical of other seafood restaurants around the area. Quick turnover of dishes makes for short waiting time. Had the black bream (黑毛uff1f) which was cheap at $600 and very fresh. Highly recommended.

This place deserves a four stars rating solely based on the merit of the fish served on the day of my visit in September 2020. The other dishes served that day were somewhat above average which did not detract from the high rating.nnTo earn four stars or above rating in my reviews, the ingredients in a dish must be fresh. Furthermore, the ingredients must be cooked right. While there's no single criteria of judging if cooking is right, a key yardstick for seafood rightness, especially fish and crustacean, is not to overcook thus preserving the texture and tenderness of the flesh.nnWhile the fish, a 'Red Brown (赤棕)', was not the best that I had ever tasted, there is no doubt that it was fresh. Even though it was pan fried, which was harder to control wellness as opposed to steaming, the flesh was tender. Furthermore, there was no attempt to overpower the fish with too much seasoning.nnIt is a place I plan on revisiting from time to time when my mood calls for seafood.

Delicious fresh caught seafood at an affordable price with generous portions.nnWe ordered the shrimp fried rice, boiled squid, and sesame oil air bladder.nnThe rice and squid were quite delicious.nnThe air bladder is an interesting dish but similar to tofu and otherwise unremarkable in taste.
