On the way to of another famous museaum we ran past this building. It has very historic significants to the ling term residents here. Several European countries had colonies or relations with the island- Portugal, England and US to name a few. Good day trip nearby Tamsui.

The former British Consulate Residence building is indeed very similar to the one in Kaohsiung. This colonial building and garden with the ocean view is rather romantic. Along with Aletheia University and Tamkang High School, this area is like, acually, a scene from a movie. It is a must visit in Tamsui.
