Totally relax after hiking, good food, good drink, good music.

It’s a beautiful restaurant but service wise needs a lot of improvement. Not a pro-family or kids restaurant. So do not visit if you have big groups.nnIt was a rainy day when we visited Maokong, so we were all in raincoats and with a baby pram. Staff welcomed you when you stepped inside, and we told them that we need a table of 4+1. The staff hanged our raincoats out in the rain, so when we left after the meal, our raincoats were soaking wet - which we requested to hang inside to dry as we will need to put it over the pram. However, I saw that there was a rain coat hanging inside the restaurant - so I assumed that it belonged to staff who works there. Hence we also took some time to dry the rain coat for the pram before we left the restaurant.nnWe took some time to remove the raincoats from the pram and ourselves, and the service staff just left the menu and writing pad for orders on the table and walked away. It was mid afternoon (around 3pm), so it was not crowded and the staff never returned to take our order even when we waived. We had to shout across the restaurant in order for the staff to check our orders - you have to write your own orders, so good luck if you do understand mandarin.nnFood wise is normal but high price given the limited restaurants there.nnWe will visit other restaurants instead if we ever do go up Maokong again.

The ends of the sweet potato stems were very brown. Don't know how old or if they even bothered to cut the old ends off after buying. Food is average.nnView could be good but the windows are covered with dark black mesh so hard to see outside. Not suitable for pictures from inside. The shops on either side have clear unobstructed windows and views.nnThe air conditioning helps when hot.
