Tsailiao Fossil Museum

From Tainan city centre it’s a 40 minute drive to get here. Once we got here unfortunately parking space is full so we parked in a private car park (it’s a local resident’s courtyard really) space is tight but not a big problem.nnOur kids had fun here! Great displays of fossils and cute furry creatures. It’s a modern new complex with good natural lights. Great for photos.nnWe finished our tour around lunchtime. Had to drive back to the city due to a lack of food options around the museum.nnOverall good experience!

Nice place for kids. The exhibits are in Chinese and English, which is a plus. The only bad things are the location, which is a bit far if you don't have a car and limited food options. There is a small cafe inside but I doubt the food would be enough for lunch.

A great place to know the fossils and local history. Have quite many interactive facilities for kids to get fun with and knowledge at the same time. Most illustrations printed in both Chinese and English, very informative and tourist friendly. The route design is easy to understand and not too tiring. Highly recommended!

Nice little museum. Very modern design and wholly bi-lingual. Worth a afternoon trip.

A good museum, mostly aimed at children. Lots of information in English which is handy and quite extensive.
