Yawan Spa Hotel

Had a pleasant 2 night stay. Staff is super friendly and helpful! If you don't have vehicle of your own then you are dependent on bus 8129 for all the transport. The bus stop is 1.5 mins walk. The hot pool is great. I stayed in 6101 and it offered mountain and ocean view. Would definitely visit again.

staff are nice,but the bathroom is not good..

The bedroom and bathroom are in poor condition. The ventilation is noisy, the air conditioning smells of vinegar. The furniture is old and has never been maintained. Rust is present on metal parts and mold is present on old silicone seals. It was cheap, we know why now.

Best spa hotel so far

Sad looking spa hotel. Looks like the building and styling was stuck in an infinite quantum time-loop of the 1960-1970s. What the spa actually is just a round communal pond of 40° C temperature at the back of the hotel, surrounded by other unheated section of swimming pool. Very dated room, brass rusted and busted window frame. Didn’t seem to cater much for foreign tourists (probably they hardly seen any since they’re still in the mentioned quantum loop above) - the buffet breakfast at the restaurant was lightly staffed by people who doesn’t seem to even wanna be there. No cutleries other than chopsticks and self service byo tray to the dirty tray section after you eat, which is simply a trolley in front of the aircond unit. Drab and very sad. I think people who came out of this spa would be feeling more depressed than when they went in. There’s laundry & dryer machine facility at the back of lobby right at the entrance to men and women public toilets, which you can see through (especially the men’s urinoirs) as they’re only half covered by Japanese traditional style top half curtains used in Japan. I swear I could smell the bleach they use to clean the bathroom. Disgusting, just disgusting. 50NTD to operate washer and dryer. Washed my clothes, dry it and scurry myself out of there as quick as I could.
