20200702: these very delicious egg tarts are priced at a reasonable TWD 35 each and quite large at 110g--double the weight of egg tarts (double the calories too!) you might find elsewhere. tried their coffee flavor egg tart on the spot and took home an original flavor (to try reheated). apparently, they serve hot ones fresh out of the oven around 0930h. they sell other pastries as well.nnaside: most bakeries don't offer a reheating service... really quite foolish as 99% of baked products taste orders of magnitude better warm...nnas for the egg tart, the custard was creamy, fragrant, very soft, and loaded with egg and coffee flavor. the cookie style tart shell is quite crumbly but not soft. sweetness is ideal.nnmany bakeries sell egg tarts at higher prices for an inferior product, but you won't find that here. if you need a cookie style egg tart fix, this place will certainly it the bill. a bit out of the way but well worth the trip.

Surprised that I liked it as much as I did. Even though it is a showroom and it's billed as a souvenir shop the pastries were good and authentic. The bakery is indeed in the back so they are fresh. Subtlety​ different from other egg tarts, these crusts are very buttery and crumbly. A matter of preference but the are good. Cheap pricing and attractive gft boxes too.

Egg tart is probably the best in town. It's worthy the effort to come over here for their egg tarts, especially it's located right next to the exit of MRT 昆陽 station. They also serve many other traditional snacks and pastries. 蒜香餅 is another my personal favor if you like the special twisting mix of garlic and buttery sugar. One star off for not-so-kind service...
