Muzhishan

Well-maintained hiking trails, with erosion minimized by heavy use of stone stairs. Steeper inclines often have handrails. Use them; the stones can be slippery after rainfall. Paths are clearly marked in Mandarin and English, with distances to key points shown. Temples abound, in sizes ranging from little bigger than a milk crate to more than an acre. There are overlooks for photography, some with cover in case of rain.

Lovely scenic views, well paved pathways.

I wonder to reach that place as it is a good distance form elephant mountatin. I suggest to the beginners and pros a to hike this trail mesperising place and peaceful environment. Feel like you are in the deep forest in few places furing the trail.

Muzhishan (拇指山) is a good vantage point to see the view of Taipei City and it's surrounding areas.
