Happy House B&B 九份愉園

Just used the B&B last week for a few days. It situates in a back street which is very quiet but at a short distance to the main station of Ruifang. The Police Station and bus stops are just one the main road next to it. So it is safe and convenient. The B&B is very clean and tidy. It is at ground level and saves us from climbing stairs. The keepers are very friendly, polite and helpful. I got useful information from them to plan my trip especially where to find good food. We used a 2 "double-bed" room which had a high ceiling. Otherwise, it would be better to place one to two stools inside the room. We loved the place and will use it again in the coming trip.

While designing the place the proprietors apparently forgot about the existence of tall people. At 1.85m I was constantly aware that I could bump my head into the ceiling of my 2nd-level room. Otherwise, very cozy & chill hipster B&B.

Nice place but it can be disappointing. The official pictures do not show the glass doors and globally the pictures are misleading. Globally the rooms are very clean and comfortable. However it is very noisy. There is a poor isolation with outside (we had a dog barking just in front of the bathroom window), and you can clearly hear when a neighbor walks around. The breakfast is only simple wet rice, however you can talk to the owner and they can buy something else outside.
