1975 Antique’s Cafe Tea Room

Very nice and cosy ambience. Staffs are very friendly. Pleasant experience. Coffee and variety of scones and pastry available.

So far it’s the only café that I can find decent scone in Taipei.

Cute little cafe, the scone is decent here. I would give it a five star, but the owner took a smoking break right outside the cafe and the cigarette smoke came in the cafe.

Good vibe and British food.

We reserved a table but they hadn't remembered when we arrived. Their scones were like bricks: solid pieces of half-cooked pastry. They were happy to sell me roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, and when we asked if they really thought the piece of omelet was a Yorkshire pudding, they admitted they had run out of real Yorkshire puddings (though we waited 30 minutes to get the dish, long enough to cook from scratch). Amateurish & rubbish. Don't encourage them.
