Taipei Lotty Hotel

Rooms are very nice. Front desk people are also very kind. English friendly. Nice modern decor inside rooms. Wifi is strong. And free breakfast is a bonus. The breakfast is a buffet with a large variety of options (on a small table). Not 5-star good, and sometimes can be cold but I'm very impressed with what they can accomplish in such a small place.nnSmall details: tiny blemishes in quality of workmanship of the renovation (doorknobs don't fully cover the old hole which it replaced). Couldn't figure out how to work the tv remote so couldn't change the channel. The thermostat seemed to only have an AC setting. Not a heat setting. Bathroom, however has a storage thermostat control, which was nice. Beds are on the very firm side, as well as the pillow. Comforter doesn't fully cover the bed as it should and couch was old and too soft to sit in with only a cloth covering over it. Still really liked my stay here and would do it again.

I see no reason why people should choose this hotel to waste a wonderful good time since the first picture & service from the front desk.

Breakfast included is ok. Fills stomach but nothing to rave about. An assortment of local food and some breads and cereal. The room is clean and the bathrooms are ok. Location is 500 m from nearest metro station. Alot of food around and one of the smaller night markets are within walking distance. I got my room at a special so overall it was a good stay.

Plain lobby but the rooms are huge and beautiful. A good value

I've stayed at Taipei Lotty Hotel a few times since I been visiting Taipei in the past few years. The rooms are very large. The bed is very comfortable. I think the bed got larger on my recent stay there in April 2015. The rooms are also very clean.nnI'm particularly fond of their service. The front desk staff are very attentive and good at directing me where I need to go. This hotel also serve Taiwanese breakfast. Everyone at their hotel is very friendly.nnI also like staying here because it's near a MRT station. There are a lot of restaurants, shops, and museums nearby. If you don't like dealing with massive crowds at some of the popular night-markets in Taipei, there is one nearby Taipei Lotty Hotel that has some of the most amazing local foods. It's a short 5 minute walk from the hotel.nnI'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.
