Costco Wholesale Kaohsiung Store

Half well trained staff, half untrained staff. The nice ones are very nice, smiley and very helpful. The rest look like they're forced to be there.nSome cashiers we encountered look like they're facing a midlife crisis.nOne staff tried to say something to me in Chinese but I didn't understand and he somehow thought raising his voice would help me understand better. No, it did not, nor did the unfriendly look he had.nI guess we all go there for cheap goods, but it still doesn't mean that they can treat their customers however they like though.

The place is good, it's like 2 storey warehouse that have a variety of goods, one of I like the most is the Thai papaya salad it's delicious and worth the price. And if anyone of you is planning to go there by borrowing the membership card of your friend, I suggest that you should bring also your friend that is the member of the store. Expect it that it's a crowded place.. overall it worth to try.nnIt's like S&R on the Philippines..nnPhoto sharing will be next time..

Weird layout. Crowded. Taichung and Tainan locations better.

Why would you not enjoy the value of Costco? I will say though in Kaohsiung for food the Dashun one tends to have better selection

I always went to the Costco in Taipei and every time I carry my puppy, a little bully that I keep inside the dog bag. When I arrived at the Costco in Kaohsiung the saleswoman blocked me and did not let me in because I had the dog! Really in 2020 we still don't let people into a supermarket with their dog. Disappointed to the fullest. Btw the I say to saleswoman that in Taipei they always let me in and I asked if this was a new rule, the saleswoman answered like here we are not in Taipei.... The rules must be the same in all Taiwan Costcos... very disappointed
