Double Pretty Hotel

Rented a room for 2 hours and the clerk didn't give me a receipt or take my ID. Then when I checked out he tried to say I'd been longer than 2 hours and make me pay more. Fortunately I had a receipt from the convenience store I went to before which proved what time I checked in and that I hadn't been longer than 2 hours. Very dishonest place.nThe room was clean and comfortable, but as others have said the bathroom is so small it overflows into the main room. Compared with other hotels it's somewhat overpriced but not badly so. Just demand a receipt uff0d or go somewhere more honest!

Small room but the convenience makes up for it. It is very close to the Taichung train station and bus terminal. The room itself is small, our bathroom was literally next to our bed. Not much room to sit besides on the bed. Sink was outside the bathroom. Location was convenient to catch local buses and it's walking distance to the night markets.

Good Service with Reasonable Price

Good location, very clean and valued for money.nnIt is close to the Taichung train station which is different from the HSR/High Speed Rail Taichung station (accessible via regular local train service), but honestly I think it’s a better and more convenient one.
