Sort of like a North American style hardware store where they have an open floorplan and you can browse uninterrupted. It's great for DIY people who don't exactly know what they want to do but they are itching to fix something. Most of the products sold here are well-made, and they carry their own brand ALD, which I believe is made locally. I bought two wrenches to work on my motorcycle. They are both finely crafted in Taiwan. I'd say most of the tools here are medium priced -- you won't find the kind of dirt-cheap tools you see at Showba -- I'm not knocking Showba, it's one of my favourite stores in Tainan. It's just that you get what you pay for. If you need something for a one-off project, go to Showba. I think this store is more targeted at tradespeople.
