MOHW Tainan Hospital

Went there yesterday with a sore throat that I had had for a week. Told me there was no infection, gave me some over the counter medication, and charged me $1500. Today I went to another doctor who told me my tonsils were infected and we did the procedure right then and there for $450 including 7 medications. Will never go to this hospital again, besides overcharging, this could have potentially become life threatening if left untreated.

The wait times very from short to ridiculously long. The time estimates for most appointments are off by at least over an hour. Have had an appoint cancelled before without warning. They do seem to have some of the more knowledgable specialist that you just won't be able to find at the local clinics. Found this place less crowded and less hectic than NCKU Hospital and a bit less expensive (I don't have health insurance).
