高雄國賓大飯店 Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung

First of all, I am a big Fan of Kaohsiung City which is one of the biggest ports in Asia and biggest in Taiwan located in the south part of Taiwan Island. Ambassador Hotel staff demonstrated highest level of service, all of them are very friendly and responsive. We liked the room (we were with kids) overlooking Lovers River and and the Sea full of vessels waiting for unloading. Breakfast was also brilliant, tasty and substantial. We certainly visit this hotel one more time ( at least😉)

A little confusion during check on but was handled well. Rooms are comfortable and service is good. The bfast menu could do with a better spread.

Friendly staffs. Old fashioned small room. Parking requires skill. Generally a good place to stay in Kaohsiung.

One day after new years no parking spots in the connected structure. Had to park a few blocks away and take a shuttle to get to the hotels. Rooms are cramped. Facilities close early at 8pm. Tried to use them the following day and was unacceptable unless you add an additional charge, I already added an additional 550nt just to stay on the weekend and no pool access in the winter. Breakfast buffet spread is pretty weak for a big brand hotel that exists all over the island, saw a group have their table cleaned up and given to another multiple times. Kids can easily be smacked and injured by inward swing doors, so watch out! Besides location convenience which is nowhere near an mrt stop btw, would look for other options. Expect to walk a lot.

Very nice buffet at the restaurant. Clean room, although the size is quite small for a classy hotel like this.
