Dore French Bakehouse

A fancy French bakery carries not-so-french concoctions the likes of fermented cabbage & braised pork loaves. Looks amazing even though I didn’t get a chance to try it. I did however try the classic avocado sourdough open sandwich. The roughly mashed up avocado was tangy, aromatic but the portion was really skimpy. The mesclun greens was remarkable- fresh & peppery. I appreciated the well done crust but the bread itself was over toasted or might not be as fresh as should be that left the crumbs hard. It’s upmarket pricing and they offer a wide range sweet & savory selections, as well as pleasant ambiance.

This is a well-designed and beautifully created concept restaurant with fantastic ingredients and lovely plated dishes. Their breads are outstanding, the servings generous, and the flavors delicate and balanced. As a clinical nutritionist, I want plenty of veggies and a good source of protein, so I often choose the Tobiko Baguette with organic greens and free-range scrambled eggs which is fabulously scrumptious. Hopefully they will come up with new creations that cater to people who want a healthy yet delicious meal. Update, September 23, 2020: I just had their avocado, egg, cheddar and bacon sandwich, and it was absolutely fantastic!

Went there today. It’s quite popular, the place was almost full. Their menu is limited but has a good variety of breakfast/brunch meals. It’s best to come early some of the dishes get ‘sold out’ 😂 we had a pleasant time . The staff was nice. Will definitely come back again , and again.

Delicious and plentiful brunch, the avocado egg burger being my favorite. Their bread series is not bad, esp with the one with pork. Dessert choice is very varied, so it's never boring. The rest is pretty normal though.

Great taste and health as usual, highly recommend for brunch lover.
