Beautiful scenery. Took the path from Pingjing St all the way to the bottom then walked quiet pathway through scenery to National Palace Museum.

Start from the Forbidden City at 8 o'clock, and take two 15-minute breaks on the way. You can walk to Ping Ping Li at about 11:30, and you can directly connect to Qingtian Post on the Neiliao Ancient Road. You can reach Qingtian Post or Ping Ping at about three o’clock. Take bus 19 and get off. Bus 19 can reach the Forbidden City or Shilin and Jiantan MRT stations, and bus 303 can reach Yangde Avenue Cultural University. Starting from the Forbidden City, the first section of straight up the mountain road is less obvious and difficult to walk. After arriving at the water canal, it is a gentle mountain trail that is easy to walk. The water canal around the mountain path, the sound of gurgling water is endless, and the green and fresh everywhere, the original spring. Go up the hill. After walking through the water canal, you will climb the 700-step bamboo forest stone-step trail to Pingpingli. Except for the first section of the mountain road along the coast, the other mountain roads are comfortable and easy to walk. In summer, there are woods and bamboo forests to shade them. It is a climbing route to escape the summer heat. Or you can take a small 19 bus to Pingdongli and go out. The cherry blossom season from 2021 to February 20 is the end of the flowering season. You need to climb as early as possible next year to enjoy the flowers.
