Valley Park Resort

There are many things which are not acceptable of this resort. 1st let's start with the laundry: they have only two laundry machines for all the resort. If it is a resort anyway you expect more laundry machines since potentially there may be so many customers. The point was even not just that, the point is...BOTH THE ONLY TWO LAUNDRIES WERE BROKEN!!!! So my clothes, which I had to get ready for next day or the same evening, they got soaked and never cleaned well and even not dried which could damage my clothes. So we asked to the reception about it and they said that they would take our clothes to a professional washing service and that they didn't know the laundry machines didn't work. Problem is that they wouldn't contact my boyfriend for arranging for it and we had to call many times before she would actually pick up our clothes. We also got out clothes at least with one to two days later than what we expected and needed. Thankfully I brought more clothes with me. Problem is that the professional laundry machine broke one pair of trousers and even a t-shirt. 2nd the breakfast made me have stomachache (maybe not fresh?) although the nice thing is that many dishes were vegetarian and vegan so it was easy for me to have breakfast. Anyway the breakfast was too early and finished too early 7/7:30 to 9:30 if I recall well. So this means you can't sleep a little bit more if you also want to have breakfast. And the selection for breakfast was not very interesting or delicious. Last day there were no other tourists than us and maybe someone else so they said there would be no breakfast but they could give us some sandwiches or other food they would prepare: the sandwiches they gave us were unexpectedly really delicious! And I think vegetarian so they respected my diet. Thank you! Breakfast was included in the price. 3rd on the last day we bought some pumpkin noodles, and we asked to put them in the room since we had our luggages in there. They said they would do after but they didn't, and we spent 100 twd without getting them at home because we didn't have time to check when leaving so we discovered too late. We had to call to ask to send us by 7 eleven and they forgot since several weeks as now. We will call them again probably hoping they would send to us. 4th the room was nothing special: although we wanted the room for two people they gave us for three people although it was all nearly free since only a few people booked the resort. There were only beds, TV, table, chair, fridge and bathroom basically. I hoped there could be at least some kind of small garden or more furniture or more areas since of the price we paid! 5th booking the structure was really a difficult thing: basically they had many free rooms (the vast majority of them) but they tried to convince us they only had a very expensive place which was even not ready for being rented out, saying that they would give us discount if we stayed there and that it was the only one left but they didn't want to sell. So we called them again and again to book and they would always say they would call us back and we didn't understand why and at the end we got a normal room since they said they were still available. When we arrived the rooms were mostly all empty. 6th there is no swimming pool which should be there for that price. 7th the museum is so small you can't even get how small is it, although I liked the shop of the museum since there were interesting things. You had free entry with the booking of a room. 8th at night it would be difficult to sleep due to the noise of the insects and lyzards. 9th sometimes internet wouldn't work and we had no wifi in the rooms which for that price should be in the room. 10th summing up I think this resort is not worth as much as they price it, (we paid 1900 twd per night on offer) but maybe just 1200 twd per night or 1500 twd per night. --------------------------------- Nice things: the landscape was amazing and the resort was very quiet and relaxing since few people were there. Frogs and cats could be seen outside.

Actually this is a really good place to visit, because of its quietness and peaceful atmosphere. You could take a whole day staying here enjoying the beautiful scene.
