Feng Chia University

I had 6 months in here to study Chinese. Overall good, but the building old one. Recommended for who want to find Chinese language center in Taichung. Night market Fengchia only 50 meters. You can rent house near this university.

I found so diverse fod street with affordable prices.. maybe if the visitors come earlier, 5-6 pm..the road is not too crowded, and we can enjoy all the menu easier...but, the vibe starts at night...i love it

Played football at the university campus. The field is a bit unkempt, but it's a great venue overall as it offers a beautiful setting, bathrooms and other facilities like basketball courts, scooter parking and vending machines... Taichung needs more football venues and this place is appreciated...

The class and the teacher I had there was wonderful. I have enjoyed going school and study Chinese here. However, I had some accident during my study here, I had joined the insurance which the school recommended. I once asked to claim for the insurance and they have confirmed to the insurance company and it has been accepted. They told me to collect a few documents to get my money back. One of the document was doctor description, I went back to the hospital to get a diagnosis certificate which it costs. (The insurance cannot cover this. ) But they told me to go back the doctor to change the description so to make sure the insurance l company will accepted. I had to go back to the hospital again just to do this. I have collect all the documents and make sure it’s all good and ask my friend to take over finalising this. ( I have asked if my friend can take over) My friend kindly go to the school and get everything organised. He have also called the school so many times. They just told him they will call after everything is ready. However THEY NEVER GAVE HIM A MESSAGE. So my friend called back the school and told him that we need more time so please wait. But after a month they didn’t give any message AGAIN. So he called them back and they suddenly said “sorry we can’t give you the insurance. “ I was very disappointed. 1. They told me that the insurance is accepted. Which I have ask them many times. 2. If the school confirmed it well and told me it won’t go through at the beginning, I could’ve save around 1500 TWD. ( Diagnosis certificate and extra medical fee. ) 3. They didn’t tell us the result unless we ask them. I am very FRUSTRATED to this IRRESPONSIBLE school correspondence. However, the atmosphere of Taiwan and people there was amazing. I’ll definitely recommend you staying in Taiwan. My 3 month program was perfect if this hadn’t happened.
