Silk Valley

A truly surprising and amazing hot springs SPA within the busy and buzzing Taipei city. Has to be one of the best that I have ever been. A transquil place that enables you to pause your life for a few hours or a day or two. Hearing the soothing sound from the near-by streams while immersed in the hot springs is truly relaxing. Further, do NOT pass on the Michelin quality dinner that prepared so delicately. Definitely one of the must in my pocket list of Taipei where-to!

Our room was beautiful, with a nice view on the bushes. The breakfast was really good with a nice view on the river. The hotel is situated in a really quiet area , ideal for couple.

Wonderful place for weekend stay. Nice food, too.

Silk Valley Spa and Leisure Club Next to the parking lot is the hot spring club, which provides soup houses and accommodation. You will see the gate when you go down, and you will see the restaurant after entering the gate and down the stairs. The main purpose of this visit is to experience the soup house, which requires advance reservation. This time I choose the Taiwan Hinoki SPA Suite. The original 2-hour holiday is $2500, but in order to relax and relax, the additional fee is $3700 for the 3.5-hour holiday. Coming here is a kind of paradise, where you can completely feel the body, mind, and soul. When you step into the soup house, you can feel the scent of cypress wood. This time the room type soup house is outdoor, and the room has a double bed and steam room. The steam room is the most special experience. For the first time, the steam room can be used in a soup house. There are no-menu dishes that need to be reserved in advance, and I will visit again next time to taste.

A hidden holy place in the valley! It's not easy to find or to order, but the unique experience is very worthwhile, and the food is not bad~
