Very beautiful library; great architecture design and view; cool indigenous house at level 4, very cultural and well organized

Crowded and noisy in the first floors because of the large area of children library. But the upper floors have lots of seats for chill reading, including Paiwan style room.

The first thing I did when I returned to Pingtung yesterday was to take a look at it, the renovated Zhongzheng Library. At the beginning, I complained a little. In my understanding, this is the "library". It is reasonable to forbid outside food to avoid damage to the books. It is just a coffee shop as soon as you enter the door... Isn't this a county library? Not an open space? Should we be more thorough to avoid damage to the environment? I don't know if the library that accompanied us when we grew up has moved towards a profit-making business, or can someone help me solve my doubts? If you want to control food outside, can you put a trash can outside? The parent-child area on the first floor is well designed. I just want to repeat that this is a library, a refurbished, renovated, and vibrant library, but after all, it still needs some volume control, otherwise it seems to be out of the book concept. Then, when the stairs are stepped on, there will be a "creak" sound Finally, seeing the well-designed appearance of the library is really touching, and I am grateful for the government to face the problem of old library facilities. Now the whole building has come alive 👍. When I saw the children's books when I was young, my memories came up. It wasn't that it was not good before renovation, but that it was not well managed. This place should be my regular itinerary to return to Pingtung. I hope I can continue to manage it properly, and I can see its beauty after coming back in ten or eight years, rather than a poorly managed and tattered library. 🙏
