Landis Resort Yangmingshan

These are sulfur hot springs and the smell permeates the entire building. The main hotel hot springs are separated by gender. There are no massage services at the hotel or in the surrounding area. The pool is situated right below the main road and is surrounded by other buildings. Staff was very helpful, rooms very clean and comfortable. Just not what we were expecting.

Overall, nice resort. However, avoid it on weekends, because they open the hotspring pools to folks not staying at the hotel, so it is very crowded. Book for a weekday... and the pools are yours to enjoy alone.

Stayed for one night on 2/28 long weekend... Pro: location Fresh air Nearby Tenmu trail Con: 1. unprofessional front desk service by 陳X魁, check-in took forever to finish 2. The hot spring room was occupied by local members instead of travelers. Almost like a communal bath house 3. When we asked for recommendation for nearby hiking trail, the manager didn't know and told me I could only walk on the main road which was so busy by cars and scooters. Gladly I took a map and found the Tenmu trail nearby!
