Museum of Illusions - Taichung

This is a cool place full of awesome illusions. It really takes you on a trip. It’s not super big, but there is an upstairs and a downstairs and neither floors disappointed. Some may leave you with a little bit of vertigo so just be careful. Besides that though it was definitely fun!

This was an amazing experience. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Most important take away from the museum is "everything is about perspective, depends on how you view things, the outcome will be different". Will surely recommend this place to family and friends.

Very well done illusions. Great for young kids. They have a constant stream of guests on the weekend but are well staffed to manage the flow to different areas so nobody gets bored waiting. Impressed that they were able to explain everything in both English and Mandarin.

The ticket was a bit pricey at NT$380 (NT$350 for students) and the museum is not that big, but the exhibits and the friendly employees were really fun. We had a good time exploring the different illusions and taking some really interesting pictures. They also have some fun wooden puzzles to solve and you can also buy some games and puzzles to take the fun home. The museum is originally from Europe and this is their 22nd branch globally.

Extraordinary customer service. EVERY staff there is well trained and ready to provide guidance and assist to take photos even for solo travelers. Love it and highly recommend.
