York Design Hotel

Price worthy!!! Was staying in the one-bed-room. Clean and comfy place to stay!

Location: Very close to the Taipei main station (5mins) and also close to shops. Food: there are many food options along the street. Hotel service: Friendly and spoke English very well. Hotel room: mine was a single room, clean and had its own bathroom. Cleaning service: good Price wise: Fair Cons: the WiFi acted up a few times and the rooms are not sound proof, so it was abit difficult to get some proper rest at night as you can hear people talking and giggling etc on other rooms. But still a very nice place for short trips.

The lobby is beautiful but you're likely to get a small room in the cellar and the walls are not painted, giving you a feeling of living in a prison cell. But believe me, I stayed in another hotel nearby York Design hotel with the same price and found out York Design was still very reasonable for one-night stay.

Basement private room is basically for people who only want to spend hostel bund fee but somehow prefer not to do social during a short stay. Perfect price and good value for short stay. I was just looking for a place that is clean and private for me to spend layovers time in Taipei and it’s perfect. Shower room is extremely clean. Staff is friendly. Location is perfect(right by Taipei station) Many people mentioned about noise from other room and public area, need to say it’s quite true, earplug is needed if you’re a light sleeper. The bed is comfortable as well. I might not stay here for few day but if next time I need to layover in Taipei, I ‘ll still come here.

Nice hotel in a more likely neighborhood. Acces to all over the city from here. The rooms are very clean good shower and nicely decorated.
